A Galvanized steel sheet which doubles as a mouse guard and entrance block.
Two metal brackets are attached to the hive and the entrance gate slides in over the entrance.
One way allows bees in and out, the other way stops bees passing through but allows ventilation.
It can easily be removed when not required.
